We have the solutions to the climate crisis. What is missing to solve the climate crisis is political will. We the people need to tell our elected officials it’s time that polluting industries pay a “dumping” fee, and that we want the money returned to households to help us all make the shift to the clean energy economy of the 21st Century. The price of more delay is economic and human disaster. Our children deserve better.
You have great timing. I was planning on watching V for Vendetta today. It’s true, we need heroes to remind us to reach beyond our own fear and do the impossible. The problem is, most people don’t really believe in themselves. Imagine the power if they only did.
I was wondering which film it was that featured the masks. Now I need only wonder where I can get a mask like that — and (of course) the courage to wear it. Thanks! 🙂
Almost any costume place will carry them. They’re widely available. My daughter has one hanging in her bedroom as we’re both fans of the film and the ideals behind it.
As long as you’re not in Canada, P. The federal govt (thank you Mr Harper) just outlawed wearing masks at public protests. And yet apparently we’re still a democracy
2013 hopefully will lead all of humanity to a new understanding of our growing legacy to life on this planet,let’s hope that this new understanding brings about a change for the better for all life on this planet.
