We have the solutions to the climate crisis. What is missing to solve the climate crisis is political will. We the people need to tell our elected officials it’s time that polluting industries pay a “dumping” fee, and that we want the money returned to households to help us all make the shift to the clean energy economy of the 21st Century. The price of more delay is economic and human disaster. Our children deserve better.

Carbon tax is a must in this oil price era. But most people who cares only about their current living will be against it. How can we make the change?
Can we have something like divestment movement to call for carbon tax? Having UN to tax every country at the National level emission may be the easiest and impactful approach. The income UN receive can then be used for climate fund.
This active move is better than waiting countries to donate
Once people realize that with a revenue-neutral carbon fee and dividend system, they get money in their pockets, it will be a pretty easy sell. And – beauty! – the higher the fee on carbon pollution, the more $$ people will get, until the shift to a clean energy economy is accomplished.
