Kermit & Miss Piggy Respond To Fox News Attacks

I’m about ready for a recess on the nonsense coming out of Ottawa, and the Harper government –  and parliament just resumed sitting yesterday after a 6-week Christmas break!  Here’s a slightly different news story, just for a change:

Adding fuel to the speculation that Fox “news” pundits are more caricatures than the Muppets themselves, Fox anchor Eric Bolling recently attacked the new Muppet Movie for featuring an oilman named “Tex Richman” as the movie’s villain. Bolling and his guests took affront at the character’s name and the occupation (millionaire oil mogul), interpreting it as an attack on “the American way”!

Eric Bolling, a host on the right-wing Fox Business channel, said: ‘The Muppets are back and being terrorised by an evil oil executive in their new movie.

‘Liberal Hollywood depicting a successful businessman as “evil”, that’s not new.’

‘We’re teaching our kids class warfare!’ he said. ‘Where are we, communist China?

…One of his guests, Dan Gainor, replied: ‘It’s amazing how far the left will go to manipulate your kids and give them the anti-corporate message.

‘I mean this is a Muppet movie for goodness sakes! The only thing green on the screen should be Kermit!’

‘It’s brainwashing in the most obvious form!’ said guest and fellow Fox commentator Andrea Tantaros.

‘I just wish liberals could just leave little kids alone!’ she continued.

Next Bolling and friends will be wailing about how successful businessmen like Mr. Potter are defamed in “It’s a Wonderful Life”! Here’s those “foreign-funded radicals” Miss Piggy and Kermit, responding at a recent news conference:
