Farewell To A Climate Warrior

Canada’s climate hawks have lost one of our own. Although Alan Burke and I never met in person, over the last few years we had become internet friends as we both worked together towards a sustainable future for our children and future generations. Alan was a frequent contributor to the comment section of the Globe and Mail, where I first came across him debunking climate denial nonsense with tenacity and intellectual vigor. I know Alan’s background was in science and in the military, and he fought against the anti-science climate deniers with all the fierceness of a warrior. In December 2010, Alan’s fight moved from the pages of the Globe and Mail to his blog, Climate Insight.

Goodbye, Alan. You will be missed.
